I did not attend these celebrations as a Nationalist Party supporter; I only went there to give my wife an idea of what a Maltese political meeting looks like!

Actually the Independence Day celebrations are well organised; as much as it pains me to praise the PN's activities. Of course I wouldn't bother to listen to Gonzi's speeches - they're the usual same old rubbish.
